The construction site of the new National Library is making rapid progress.

The striking building geometry with the red concrete block facade already dominates the appearance on the Kirchberg and will be finalised in the next few weeks.

Inside, the large archive has already been completed. In the large reading room, as well as in the administrative and public areas of the library, carpenters, tilers, drywallers, floor layers and technicians are busy completing the elaborate interior finishing work by the end of the year.
