Groundbreaking ceremony for music school in Lüdenscheid

The construction works for the new music school in Lüdenscheid have officially begun. In presence of mayor Dieter Dzewas and representatives of the city the symbolic first cut of the spade for the building has been carried out.

The new three storey high building will unite the locations of the educational institution under one roof. 20 classrooms and a multifunctional event hall ensure enough space for all activities of the school. A generous, glazed foyer with a striking atrium stairway creates a friendly yet modern lobby with orientation to the Lüdenscheider historical center.

WW+, as the winner of the international realization competition, is responsible for the design and realization of the new music school located in the crossing area of Hochstraße and Staberger Straße. The Lüdenscheider office KKW Architekten is supporting us on site.
