Elmen: Laying of the foundation stone for an innovative district, Kehlen (L)

Work on the first phase of the SNHBM project has officially begun. On this occasion, the foundation stone was laid on Wednesday 26 September in the presence of Marc Hansen, Minister for Housing, and Félix Eischen, Mayor of the Municipality of Kehlen, Guy Entringer, Managing Director of SNHBM and Annick ROCK, President of the Board of Directors of SNHBM.

The district of Elmen covers an area of about 27 hectares. It will be divided into three villages organized around a central square and comprising about 750 housing units. This corresponds to approx. 2000 new residents. Since 2014, the entire property has belonged to SNHBM. The specific development plan - PAP- for the central village was approved so that work could begin on 16 July 2018.

In this context, WW+ won the competition for the construction of a mixed-use building (offices, shops, apartments) as well as the central car park, announced by the Municipality of Kehlen. We are looking forward to the start of the construction work.
