"My neighbourhood, my desires": revitalisation of the city centre of Esch-sur-Alzette (L)

On the occasion of the press conference on Thursday 25 October, Georges Mischo (Mayor), André Zwally (Alderman), Pim Knaaf (Alderman), Mandy Ragni (Alderman) and Luc Wagner (WW+) presented the results of the public survey carried out with our office within the framework of the participation and dialogue procedure for the revitalisation of the city centre of Esch-sur-Alzette "My Quarter, My Wishes".

In the three-month participation phase (May-June-July 2018) more than 1300 answers were collected by means of a questionnaire (paper and online). In addition, more than 200 people took part in district tours, various workshops and conferences on the future of the city centre of Esch.

All these results were compiled and analysed by our project management and urban planning team and will be presented on 5 December in the form of a "Citizens' Report". This document will contain both the short-term measures for 2019 and the medium- and long-term measures for revitalising the city centre, based on the ideas and proposals of the population.
