New construction of a school complex, Echternach (L)

The municipality of Echternach has requested a school project of the "integrated model" type. This means that the building complex will have shared teaching, morning reception and afternoon care function facilities, as well as the CDI (Intellectual Development Centre), with a view to leveraging all corresponding synergies. A participatory process was engaged to fulfil this requirement and task, comprised of a working group specially set up for the project and involving teachers, caregivers, educators and parents, as well as representatives of the municipal administration. Its task was to participate in the planning phase and optimally integrate the spatial programme developed by the community with the users.
