We train our staff: Construction with wood

Wood is a sustainable, durable building material, which helps to protect resources and the climate. Apart from the ecological factor as renewable resource, wood offers high thermal insulation and a comfortable atmosphere. As the elements of wood constructions can be prefabricated independet from weather conditions, the construction period can be held short, low in noise and disruptions. Wooden constructions are versatile and can be used not only for new buildings, but also for adding storeys and extensions, as it is the case with the Social Office in Petange.

In order to learn more about the advantages and possibilities of building with wood, 19 employees of WW+ have joined an internal course of three modules. The theoretical lessons have been complemented by a practical one at the building site in Petange.
