Approval PAP A Belleg, Dudelange (LUX)

An important milestone of the Quatier "A Belleg" was reached with the approval of the PAP (Plan d'aménagement particulier) by the municipality of Dudelange in September last year.

Dudelange will, by the extension of this residential area, create space for 400 new residents, in multi-family and also single-family houses. 10% are reserved for social housing.

The focus is directed on sustainability and quality of life which are reflected particularly in favouring soft mobility, by reducing the space dedicated to the car for circulation and parking spaces, as well as the installation of a new train stop in the center of the project. The planning of a low-car neighbourhood allows for a homogeneous exterior design with meeting zones, the provision of open spaces for shops, restaurants, and cafés, as well as the installation of street furniture.

Facilities, such as a kindergarten, restauration facilities, and local commerce, are also planned for the residential neighbourhood.

RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg summarizes the objectives of the project in a TV report, featuring Mayor Dan Biancalana and WW+ Managing Director Luc Wagner.

The planning for the infrastructure works of the PAP "A Belleg" is already in full swing.
