Lift Holleschbierg in Hesperange takes shape (LUX)
Our “Lift Holleschbierg” project in Hesperange continues to make progress. The elevator is one important component of the revitalization and redesign of the center of Hesperange. The new lift structure, which will connect the town center with the Holleschbierg barrier-free in the future, has been under construction here since the beginning of last year.
The concrete works of the tower's elevator shaft have now been finalised and the prefabricated stairs with 165 steps that wind around the elevator shaft have been put in place. The elevator will soon be installed, and the 35-meter-high tower will be wrapped in a perforated aluminum façade. An important next step will be the laying of the bridge, which will then span a total length of 38 meters from the tower to Holleschbierg.
The latest drone images taken by the municipality of Hesperange offer impressive insights into the current progress of the construction site. We are already looking forward to the panoramic view from the top floor of Lift Holleschbierg over “Hesperpark”, Place Paul Jomé and the surrounding area!
