Recognition Timber Construction Prize Eifel for School campus Echternach (LUX)

Every four years, the “Timber Construction Prize Eifel” honours pioneering examples of the performance and application diversity of wood. Together with our clients and project partners, we are delighted that the Echternach school campus has been recognized! Out of 52 submitted projects, six were awarded prizes and six were recognized.

The jury's appraisal of the Echternach school campus project reads:

“The school campus in Echternach, planned as a timber-concrete hybrid building, represents a future-oriented educational landscape. The use of wood on the upper floors emphasizes the sustainability and resource conservation of the project. This approach deserves recognition for its integration of environmental protection and education, with wood playing a central role not only structurally but also pedagogically. The building combines functional and aesthetic added value and makes a significant contribution to the promotion of sustainable building practices.”
