2nd Prize for Campus Vision in Wasserbillig (LUX)

Together with our partner architects Auer Weber we developed a competition entry for the redesign of the Campus Wasserbillig, which was awarded second place in the negotiation procedure. The project involves a new building complex at the existing school campus in the heart of Wasserbillig - bringing together educational, sports and cultural facilities under one roof.

Our design proposes a phased implementation, with a strong emphasis on preserving and incorporating the current buildings. At its core, the campus contains a spacious green area that connects the different functions and invites interaction. The new planned sports and cultural center as a distinct micro-campus is made up of clearly articulated architectural units.

These are all linked by a single-story foyer, which wraps around a preservation-worthy mature maple tree that serves as a natural landmark. Timber construction and wooden façades play a central role in shaping both interior and exterior spaces.
