Inauguration Parking des Martyrs, Luxembourg (LUX)

Following extensive renovations, the underground parking facility at Place des Martyrs – commonly known as the “Rousegäertchen” – in Luxembourg City's Gare district has officially reopened. The garage, which was damaged by a fire in 2019, was inaugurated on March 17.

The project focused on structural restoration, modernization of the building’s safety and technical systems, and a significant upgrade to accessibility. A new barrier-free entrance ensures that the facility is accessible to all visitors.

Spread across three levels, the garage now offers a total of 361 parking spaces. These include dedicated spaces for people with reduced mobility, charging stations for electric vehicles, reserved spots for women and a bicycle area with space for 32 bikes. A clearly designed signage system has been applied to improve navigation throughout the facility.
