Raphael Gindt (LUX), 2018-19

Raphael Gindt has been involved with street art in all its forms since his childhood and became a professional freelance artist at the age of 19. Born in 1993, the artist is known for his creative use and his interweaving of various styles and techniques. For the design of his works he works both expressively and surrealistically.

The Luxembourg artist attracts the attention of his audience with his deep and spectacular murals. He treats glass or plexiglass with paint splashes and a spatula. Raphael Gindt reproduces emotions and impulses that deeply touch his audience. All the people represented in his portraits belong to a time of his private life. He uses glass to enhance the expressive effect of his paintings and plays with light reflections.

In addition to his own works of art, Raphael Gindt is committed to educating young people and imparting his knowledge. In 2016 he founded with the artist Daniel Mac Lloyd two artistic associations with an educational mission (Street Art Culture A.S.B.L. and Urbano Limits a.s.b.l.).

In September 2019, Raphael Gindt and Daniel Mac Lloyd jointly carried out a major project. They opened their own gallery and their own creative space in a renovated house. In this space, called Kamellebuttek, they will organise art courses, visits for children and various exhibitions.
